Information we collect

We collect the information you give us directly: your name, email address, telephone number, the postcode or address of the property concerned, and whatever you tell us about the project in an enquiry form, email, phone call or site meeting.

Where you engage us for design or construction work, we also hold project records such as drawings, correspondence with your local authority, contract documentation and payment records.

Our website may collect limited technical information such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited, used only to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful.

How we use your information

To respond to your enquiry and arrange a free design visit; to prepare fee proposals, estimates and drawings; to administer a JCT contract and carry out construction work; to correspond with local authorities, building control and warranty providers on your behalf; to raise valuations and invoices; and to meet our legal, insurance and record-keeping obligations.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

Lawful bases

We rely on your consent when you send us an enquiry, on the performance of a contract once you appoint us, on our legitimate interests in running and improving our business, and on legal obligation where records must be retained for tax, health and safety, or building control purposes.

Sharing your information

We share information only where it is needed to deliver your project: with our own design and construction staff, long-standing subcontractors and consultants working on your scheme, your local planning authority and building control body, structural warranty providers such as NHBC or LABC, our insurers, and our accountants where required.

Everyone we share information with is required to keep it confidential and to use it only for the purpose it was shared.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not proceed are held for a limited period so that we can pick up the conversation if you return, and are then deleted. Project records are held for as long as we may need them in connection with the contract, the defects period, any warranty and our professional indemnity insurance, and for the periods required by tax and construction legislation.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to ask us to delete information we no longer need, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where consent is the basis we rely on.

Cookies and third-party content
